The student advocate group was created as a fun and philanthropic way for our students and younger supporters all over the country to band together with their peers in support of music education.  Joining this group will allow you to become more involved with the Foundation's work by offering unique tips on ways to be proactive advocates for music education in your communities. VH1 Save The Music Young Benefactors (YB), are an exclusive group of music enthusiasts who love and support the arts. YB’s works closely with VH1 Save The Music staff to help build broad public support, become leaders and mentors, and generate funds to provide public school children with a complete education that includes music. To date, the Foundation has 60+ YBs nationwide and continues to actively recruit new members.

The Young Benefactors group is comprised of energized 21+ year-old professionals, working at leading companies across various business sectors. As movers and shakers, these socially conscious individuals, set the latest trends in fashion, entertainment, travel and consumer products and are innovators of social media and emerging technologies. This exclusive group also represent the country’s top companies such as: Allison & Partners, Ann Taylor Stores Corp, Bloomberg LLP, Citigroup, Clinton Global Initiative, Deloitte, Dominick & Dominick, LLC, Essence Magazine, Fashion to Figure Retail Stores, JetBlue Airways, MTV Networks, Nickelodeon, Susan Blond Inc., The Pekoe Group, Time Inc. and many more.
