On June 17th, 2010, A Celebration Event took place at Hooper Avenue Elementary School in Los Angeles, CA with VH1 Save The Music Foundation partner, JetBlue Airways.  JetBlue presented a check of $30,000 to the Foundation to restore one full instrumental music program for th 2010-2011 school year and the school band performed for all in attendance.  Hooper received a grant of band instruments from the Foundation in 2007 and has grown their music program into a strong model elementary music program for the Los Angeles Unified School District.
