DRUM CORPS INTERNATIONAL’S “BIG, LOUD & LIVE 7” WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTERFINALS
THUNDERS BACK INTO MOVIE THEATERS FOR A HEART-STOPPING SEVENTH YEAR

Annual NCM Fathom Event, Broadcast LIVE, Marks the Start of DCI Championship Events for World Class Corps

Centennial, Colo., July 14, 2010 – The pounding rhythms, precise formations and pulsating beats of the Drum Corps International’s (DCI) World Championship Quarterfinals once again march into movie theaters in the exclusive, annual event Big Loud & Live 7. This rousing competition, featuring teams of world class brass musicians, percussionists and color guard performers, will be broadcast LIVE from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis to nearly 500 select movie theaters on Thursday, August 12 at 6:30 p.m. Eastern / 5:30 p.m. Central / 4:30 p.m. Mountain / 3:30 p.m. Pacific.

Tickets for Big, Loud & Live 7 are available online at www.FathomEvents.com as well as presenting box offices (theaters and participants are subject to change). DCI is partnering with VH1 Save The Music Foundation to promote this special one-night event.

Presented by NCM Fathom and DCI, Big, Loud & Live 7 will feature more than five hours of electrifying performances from 23 drum corps competing in the 2010 DCI World Championship Quarterfinals. The broadcast will include the complete competitive productions of the top 15 World Class drum corps in addition to highlight clips of the first eight that will have performed earlier in the day. DCI has hosted 37 World Championships in 16 North American cities since its founding in 1972.

Big, Loud & Live 7 will be shown in 489 select movie theaters including AMC Entertainment Inc., Celebration! Cinema, Cinemark USA Inc., Cobb Theatres, Georgia Theatre Company, Goodrich Quality Theatres, Hollywood Theaters, Kerasotes Showplace Theatres, Malco Theatres, Marcus Theatres, National Amusements, Rave Motion Pictures and Regal Entertainment Group movie theaters, as well as Carolina Theatre (Asheville, NC), Palace Cinema 9 (South Burlington, VT) and Penn Cinema (Lititz, PA), through NCM’s exclusive Digital Broadcast Network.
